At La Ría Restaurant you will be able to enjoy the most innovative Basque cuisine. Opened in September 2005 with Chef Jorge Bilbao in command, at La Ría you will discover dishes which have been prepared and designed with the finest produce of our land. In addition, it is provided with spacious function rooms and a large terrace making it ideal for weddings and banquets. All its rooms look to the outside and are able to accommodate up to 250 people.

Jorge Bilbao is the source of inspiration of the cookery at La Ría Restaurant. Trained at the Hotel and Catering School of Artxanda (Bilbao), he has worked in conjunction with some of the most renowned chefs nationwide,such as Martín Berasategui or Fernando Canales. He bases his Carte on seasonal produce, preparing traditional Basque recipes with a very personal touch of nouvelle cuisine.

We recommend you to try our Terrine of foie with apple and fresh cheese, followed by a delicious Loin of cod with trotters and garlic and almond soup. We also suggest that you taste our Loin of lamb with potato confit. For dessert, we shall tempt you with our exquisite Ball of rice pudding and foam.

How to get there
Airplane
By car:
1. From Loui airport, take the BI-2704 / BI-3704
road.
2. Cross Asua-Lauroeta town.
3. Continue by BI-2704.
4. In the roundabout, take the exit 2 and continue
by the BI-3704 / Bilbao-Plencia Errepidea / Bilbao-Plencia
Road.
5. Exiting of Asua-Lauroeta, continue by the BI-3704
road.
6. Continue along 2 km until the cross with N-637
road.
7. Follow by N-637 and pass by the Túneles de
Artxanda Tunnels (toll: 1.35).
8. Enter in Bilbao city center.
9. Take the Paseo Campo de Volantín avenue and
continue along until reaching the hotel, situated in
a few meters.
By bus:
There is a bus running every half an hour from Loiu
airport to Bilbao: Bizkaibus line, nº A-3247.

1. Coming from the A8 highway, enter to Bilbao by
the Parque de Escurce exit and take Juan de Garay
street.
2. Continue until Plaza Zabálburu square.

4. Continue along, crossing the bridge until Paseo
Campo de Volantín avenue, where the hotel is
located.
