A quick culinary short break to Lisbon, Portugal
A short break to Lisbon is an experience with so much to offer. That´s why we have put together some recommended experiences in the city like an event to see the sunset views and then a live Fado show with dinner on your first day of arrival in the Portuguese capital. On the second day, you will enjoy in the morning a gastronomic journey tasting the best food in Lisbon with our Cooking Class and Market Tour. Meet your chef, then head to a local market to handpick fresh ingredients for your traditional Portuguese Cooking Class and meal. Then our local guide will show you around the city visiting the Jerónimos Monastery, Belem Tower (from the outside), Castle of Sao Jorge and Alfama Quarter in the afternoon.
On the third day, for a day out of the city, we have a few options like: heading to Sintra, a place like a page torn from a fairy tale, a place where Nature and Man have combined in such a perfect symbiosis that UNESCO has granted it World Heritage Site status. The next stop will be at a winery in the beautiful village of Colares. Then in the afternoon, walk along the promenade of Cascais, a beautiful coastal resort town. The second option if you want a more active day then you could do an Arrabida Park Tour SUP in the morning then a kayak tour and then hike with Picnic style lunch, a fun-packed day in a beautiful coastal area nearby the city.

- You will meet our chef in the facilities. Together with the chef, you will visit a local market and return to the kitchen for the cooking class and meal.

- You will be delighted with the variety of colours, fresh vegetables and variety of fresh fish and shellfish.
- The chef/instructor will teach you how to prepare a traditional Portuguese meal consisting of fish dish, meat dish and dessert. It`s a hands-on experience! At the end of all preparation, you will enjoy the meal with your new foodie friends together with excellent Portuguese wines.
- Market Tour with Cooking Class is an excellent opportunity to learn about the secrets of Portuguese cuisine with locals in a fun and relaxed environment.

- You will start off your day heading to the beautiful village of Sintra - about 30 minutes by car from the capital- which is a harmonic combination of history and fantasy, described as a "glorious Eden" by the 18th-century British poet Lord Byron. Your guide will give you plenty of information about the city`s wonderful palaces. You will visit the Palacio da Pena & Old Quarter and see the imposing monuments.
- Your next stop will be at a winery in the beautiful village of Colares where you will enjoy a wine visit with tasting and a special buffet lunch at the winery (Casal Sta. Maria Winery)
- Start the Winery Tour.
