Introduction

Culinary Tour in Rias Baixas: Market or Winery Visit & Cooking Class
Discover the rich flavours of Galicia with an immersive culinary experience in Rias Baixas. From shopping for fresh ingredients at the Cambados market to hands-on cooking and wine tasting in a vineyard-surrounded manor, this is one of the most authentic Galicia food tours available. This culinary tour is suitable for families, couples, and corporate groups.

On Sundays, since the market is closed in Cambados, we substitute with a D.O. Rías Baixas winery visit and tasting before the cooking class. Even on weekdays, if you prefer, we can replace the market visit with a special trip to the Bodega Mar de Frades, renowned for its premium Albariño wines.
During this exclusive experience, you will tour the cellar and vineyards, learning about the unique coastal terroir that shapes the flavours of Albariño. The visit concludes with a VIP tasting overlooking Cambados, where you´ll enjoy elegant, aromatic wines paired perfectly with local Galician delicacies.

Guided Market Visit in Cambados
Your experience begins with a guided food tour of Cambados market, where you´ll shop like a local, selecting fresh ingredients for your dishes. Learn about seasonal seafood, native produce, and local vendors.

The Cooking Venue: Quinta de San Amaro Boutique Hotel & Restaurant
Located in Meaño, at the heart of the Salnes Valley, Quinta de San Amaro offers a charming rural setting among Albariño vineyards. This boutique hotel and restaurant is known for its warm hospitality, traditional Galician cuisine, and exceptional location in Rías Baixas wine country.

The Cooking Class: Traditional Galician Culinary Workshop
Experience the heart of Galician cuisine with a hands-on cooking class at Quinta de San Amaro. Learn to prepare authentic regional dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the local market. With a focus on traditional techniques and flavors, this culinary experience offers a meaningful connection to the food culture of Rías Baixas, perfect for couples, families, or food-loving travelers.
After cooking, sit down together to enjoy the fruits of your labor in a relaxed, vineyard-view setting. End the experience with a traditional Galician queimada ritual, a fiery, aromatic drink steeped in culture.
