Introduction

Majestic Seville: Cathedral, Alcazar, Giralda, and Old Quarter
Start your walking tour of the Old Quarter of Seville by visiting some of the most iconic monuments in the city, the first one will be the breathtaking Seville Cathedral built between 1433-1507. The world´s biggest Gothic cathedral was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1987.
Back then it was known as an Almohad mosque, in 1248 it became a Roman Catholic church due to the change in the political scene of the country. The place was originally known as the Almohad mosque, which was founded in the year 1172 by order of the Almohad caliph Abu Yaqub Yusuf. After the conquest of Seville by Ferdinand III, the mosque became a Christianized mosque and, later, a Gothic Catholic Roman Cathedral with some alterations in the structure and organization to adapt to the Christian religion.
One of the most important parts of the cathedral is the bell tower, called The Giralda. Built in 1772 this tower is an emblematic monument in Seville. Made up of 24 bells, is considered the bell tower with the highest number of bells in Spain. There aren't any stairs in the Giralda, to reach the top you will have to go up 35 wide ramps. These ramps were built so that the sultan could ride the horse up the Giralda and enjoy the breathtaking views.

Delve into the Moorish Heritage of Seville by visiting the Royal Alcazar
The Reales Alcázares de Sevilla, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a stunning Moorish palace and royal residence in Seville, Spain. With its origins dating back to the 10th century, the Alcázares showcase a unique blend of Moorish, Mudejar, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles. Explore the lush gardens and intricate tilework. Enjoy the rich history and cultural fusion of this remarkable Andalusian gem!

Wander the Narrow Streets of the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz
One of the most popular neighbourhoods in Seville is the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz with its typical narrow streets and patios full of flowers. This neighbourhood has witnessed numerous historical events and has served as an inspiration to poets, writers, and musicians. Take a relaxed walk, exploring the streets and squares, and enjoy any corner, shadow, or aroma.
