A Region offering amazing Nature, Wine and Food, an excellent combination!
Follow the food, wine, and natural vineyard trails of O Ribeiro, walking through tiny vineyard plots owned by "colleiteiros" (small local growers and winemakers) growing local grape varieties making delicious signature small-batch wines, a must-see highlight when visiting this wine region.
The Ribeiro wine region has been cultivated for over a thousand-years with Torrontés, Loureira, Godello, Albariño and Treixadura grapes, this last variety stands out as the favourite of Ribeiro. The Ribeiro D.O. (Designation of Origin or Appellation of Origin) is the oldest wine-producing area in Galicia.
