At Celler Capçanes, located in the southern part of Priorat, winemaking runs deep in our heritage. Since our founding in 1933, our passion for crafting exceptional wines has only grown.

As market needs evolved, so did we. By uniting 80 families from our village, we transformed our winery and pioneered kosher winemaking using the Mevushal method. This breakthrough not only expanded our reach but also introduced our wines to new global markets.
Kosher Wine Production: Tradition Meets Excellence
Our kosher wines are meticulously crafted under the strict supervision of the Orthodox Union (OU) USA and the Kosher Federation of London, in close collaboration with local Chabad Lubavitch Rabbis.
The Vineyards: A Unique Terroir for Premium Wines
Our vineyards, surrounding the village of Capçanes, are nestled on steep slopes and terraces, protected by the Llaberia mountains. We specialize in Garnacha Negra and Cariñena, working with high-altitude, low-yielding bush vines—some over 110 years old.

Day by day itinerary
DAY 1:
BARCELONA - PRIORAT WINE COUNTRY - BARCELONA
- 9:00AM: Our English-speaking driver will pick you up at your Hotel or cruise ship in Barcelona
- Private Chauffeured Luxury Van or car - Travel in style and comfort with a personal chauffeur in a luxury van or car.
- 11:00AM: Arrival at Spain’s first Kosher winery, Celler de Capçanes
- Private guided tour of the winery and its kosher winemaking process
