There will also be workshops where you can learn about medieval writing, wood carving, coin minting, stamp sealing, etc...

Travel back in time to the middle ages and enjoy a unique experience with two local guides Sean & Tiernan, in the fishing village of Moaña.

Enjoy the atmosphere and listen to the Gaitas (Galician bagpipes) Celtic Music, from the Asociación Gaiteiros de Moaña. The Gaita is one of the most traditional instruments of Galicia, and was popular as well during the Middle Ages.  Moaña, Galicia, Spain is home to numerous famous bagpipers such as Anxo Lorenzo, Xose Manuel Budiño, among musicians.

The gaita (Galician bagpipe) became popular thanks to the massive immigration of Galicians to the United States and Latin America. The creation of Galician Centers (Centro Galego / Casa Galicia) in iconic cities and capitals, like New York City and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Concello de Moaña and the Moaña Antiqua Cultural Association are in charge of organizing this festival that is celebrated every year on June 24th, 25th, and 26th.
