Our True Flavour Journeys are a collection of special small group tours that are personally led by our founder Sean O´Rourke. After 25+ years of designing boutique food, wine, and walking tours we have decided to create a collection of tours visiting destinations that have stolen our hearts and palates! Our first gastronomic journey will be to the Madeira Islands, Portugal in November 2024.
The Interceltic Festival of Morrazo is a folk music festival held in the fishing village of Moaña, located in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain and part of the O Morrazo Peninsula. This festival is more than 20 years old. Apart from the local Galician folk music bands other artists from all over the world participate at this music festival from Scotland, Northumbria, Ireland, Canada and Brittany. This year takes place on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of July. We will take you virtually to the amazing festival!

Join us on a live experience to immerse yourself in the middle ages and see a Medieval tournament held at the Festival of Moaña Antiqua, that takes place in the parish of San Martiño, Moaña, Galicia, Spain. You will enjoy watching the knights competing in different disciplines such as jousting where two horse riders wielding lances with blunted tips will fight for victory, you will also see sword and axe fighting with shields and archery.
A Medieval Tournament was a competition for knights where they would show off their military skills and chivalrous qualities to win popularity, riches, and glory. This type of competition has come from a way back, dating from the 10th to 16th century, and was the principal expression of aristocratic ideals such as chivalry and noble lineage, where the prestige of noble families was put to the test!
The Concello de Moaña and the Moaña Antiqua Cultural Association are in charge of organizing this festival that is celebrated every year on June 24th, 25th, and 26th.
