 Parador de La Seu d´Urgell This Parador rises up next to the Romanesque cathedral of La Seu d`Urgell, in a monumental setting also open to nature, which attracts numerous hikers, lovers of mountains and no end of tourists making their way to the Andorran paradise. The world-famous Parc Olimpic del Segre Canoeing Championships are held on the river Segre here during the summer.

Its seventy-nine rooms, indoor pool, sauna, solarium, café and air conditioning in all guest rooms, make this Parador an attractive choice for accommodation and starting point from which to discover one of the most breathtaking areas of the Catalan Pyrenees.

Here, both registered and non-registered guests can savor the delights and flavors of the Lérida region in the form of dishes such as: Homemade marinated foie gras, escudella barrejada (traditional stew), pig´strotters stuffed with mushrooms and rosemary, wild boar stew, and delectable desserts such as mousse de miel y mató (honey and fresh goat cheese mousse) or sopa de frutos rojos con sorbete de queso fresco (red berry soup with fresh cheese sorbet), among many others.

HOW TO GET THERE:

The Parador is located in the old quarter of La Seu dUrgell, on Calle Sant Domenec, sheltered by the Sala Sant Domenec, the Cathedral, the Town Hall and the Seminary. The city is located 10 km from Andorra, its main access being the N-260 from Lleida, Girona or Barcelona. It is located 130 km from Lleida, the capital of the province.
