The Interceltic Festival of Morrazo is a folk music festival held in the fishing village of Moaña, located in the province of Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain and part of the O Morrazo Peninsula. This festival is more than 20 years old. Apart from the local Galician folk music bands other artists from all over the world participate at this music festival from Scotland, Northumbria, Ireland, Canada and Brittany. This year takes place on the 29th, 30th, and 31st of July. We will take you virtually to the amazing festival!

Madeira´s Atlantic Festival takes place from 5 to 28 June 2026, bringing music, cultural activities, Summer Sunsets, circus shows and spectacular pyromusical fireworks to the island. You can see the official programme on the Visit Madeira Atlantic Festival page.
For this free virtual experience, we will begin live from Funchal´s waterfront during the closing night of the festival. The city will be full of summer atmosphere as we walk from Praça do Povo towards Marina do Funchal, where Diogo and his team will welcome us aboard a traditional Xavelha boat.
The Xavelha is a small, colourful wooden fishing boat connected with Madeira´s maritime heritage. From the marina, we will sail into Funchal Bay, with the city, mountains and Atlantic coastline as our backdrop, before watching the official closing pyromusical fireworks show live from the water.
This experience reflects the kind of travel we love to promote: sustainable, small-scale and rooted in local heritage. Instead of large coach groups or mass tourism, we focus on immersive experiences that support local people, protect traditions and help keep Madeira´s authentic culture alive.

A Xavelha is a traditional wooden fishing boat connected with Madeira´s maritime heritage, especially the fishing traditions of Câmara de Lobos. Today, restored Xavelha boats offer a small-scale and authentic way to experience Madeira from the Atlantic.
