Passion for Authentic Gastronomic Travel.

Born in Vancouver, Canada, and raised in Galicia, Spain, I studied Tourism at college here in Galicia, where my passion for travel, local culture, and authentic gastronomy evolved into a lifelong mission. With a deep love for Spanish food, wine, and culinary traditions, I co-founded Eat & Walkabout to share the unique Slow Way Food Touring style of Galicia with curious travelers from around the world.

With over five years of experience in the travel industry, my work has always focused on helping visitors connect meaningfully with the places they explore, especially through regional cuisine and real, local experiences.

Leading Slow Food and Wine Tours in Galicia

I currently guide our signature food and walking tours in Vigo, Santiago de Compostela, Cangas do Morrazo, and throughout Galicia. My guiding style is rooted in slow travel and food sustainability, walking scenic coastal and rural routes, discovering hidden gastronomic gems, tasting Galician wines, and telling the stories behind this region´s rich culinary identity.

I focus on creating experiences that offer genuine, personal connections to local people, food producers, winemakers, and communities. Every tour is designed to be immersive, sustainable, and filled with meaningful encounters, perfect for travelers who want to explore deeply and eat well.

Curating Luxury FIT & Tailor-Made Travel

Over the past four years, I´ve also worked closely with international travel advisors and tour operators to design luxury FIT (Fully Independent Traveler) itineraries throughout Spain and Portugal. These tailor-made journeys are built around high-end gastronomy, boutique hotels, local winemakers, and exclusive cultural access, offering travelers unique and personalized ways to explore each destination.

International Travel & Industry Engagement

To continue building and enriching our travel experiences, I´ve taken part in several international tourism events and fam-trips. I recently joined a fam trip to Emilia-Romagna, Italy, as part of the Good Italy Workshop, where I explored some of the country´s best food and wine destinations.

I also traveled to Felanitx, Mallorca, on a focused fam-trip to discover a lesser-known part of the island, rich in local gastronomy, nature, and traditional culture, an experience that reinforced our commitment to offering travelers destinations beyond the typical tourist path.

In June 2025, I represented Eat & Walkabout at the Spain Tourism US‑Canada Summit in Seville, where I presented our Galician food and wine tours to over 70 North American travel professionals.

Why Travel with Me

With formal tourism training, hands-on guiding experience, and a multicultural background that spans Canada, Spain, and Scotland, I bring a well-rounded, personal perspective to every journey.

Whether you´re joining one of our scheduled food tours, booking a custom itinerary, or planning a luxury FIT escape, I bring energy, creativity, and a deep passion for culinary culture to every trip. My goal is to make each tour not just enjoyable, but unforgettable, full of flavor, connection, and moments that stay with you.
